Yes, do bring your Butz back here(?).
Maya
“Uhm… Well… You see…”
[Maya was still incredibly uncomfortable to talk about the letter, and she made no effort to hide that fact either.]
“I… well… kinda wrote that I would be stalking him… in a really creepy, unsettling manner… and made it look like a blackmail letter too…eheh…”
What would you do that for?- He looked away for a second, then back at her. He certainly had no intention to sound like he was scolding her; but his tone of voice only spoke otherwise; and well, he couldn’t help it. He was putting up with Larry because of that.
-Perhaps this was not the best moment for that kind of misunderstandings; he is a bit…too much devastated about his girlfriend. - He tried to excuse his tone.
-Why would you want to stalk him in the first place?- He said, now rather curious than upset.

Maya
Ah, so I guess you know what’s going on? That’s good… Wow, you seem to be taking it rather well! I thought you’d be questioning the logic behind it more. Oh… Eh… That letter? Ehm… Yeah, about that… You see, I was just about to fix that…
-I’m allright for now, accepting the facts as they are. -
But he wasn’t; of course all this nonesense had him wondering if he had been dreaming for what seemed to be an eternity; He still couldn’t even believe half of what had supposedly happened to Phoenix. He know his friend wouldn’t lie; But he strongly believed that Phoenix was maybe under the wrong impression of something that had happened to him. His skepticism itself was the very reason he agreed to meet the cat in the first place.
The whole paradox thing was also hard to understand; harder even, than to think they were all subject to some sort of hallucinogen. But like forever; he chose to pretend like nothing was wrong to avoid discussing such facts with his acquaintances, and rather investigate and figure things out with his own logic.
-Larry was quite shocked to receive those letters; but he never told me what the content was. Would you mind filling me in?-
Meeting.
Miles put up a sympathetic smile. His face features speaking “Do I have a choice?”
-I would love to see that cat for myself, to be sincere.- He needed to see for himself that the cat displayed at least some human like behaviors; he did believe Phoenix, but it was a hard thing to do; perhaps with some “evidence” his mind could be put to rest.
You really want to meet him?
[Phoenix had to admit, that he was a little bit surprised. Usually, Miles refused to believe everything that didn’t match with his logic. He felt good, because Miles believed his story, but that he wanted to meet Sissel was kind of unusual.]
Well, like I said, Sissel stays with us. You can come and visit us whenever you want.
I will have that in mind. -He smiled; as he wasn’t precisely dying to know the cat. He had other matters to attend to, although he was pleased to serve Phoenix any help.
Heya, Mr. Edgeworth! I heard you had arrived, but I didn't see you around yet, so I came to see for myself! So, it is true! Well, then, how did you end up here? I'm interested! ~Maya
(Maya…!)
Evening, Maya;
I have indeed returned. Business brought me here to find myself completely flummoxed; but Phoenix has filled me in with most important details.
I…heard Larry was quite troubled about some letters you sent him. Whatever ensued further?
Meeting.
[Of course Phoenix knew that Miles was uncomfortable with a hug and so he slowly let go of the other man again, giving him a small grin.]
Hey… thanks. You’re really a great friend.
Maybe I can show you that cat one day… that means, if you want to be introduced to a cat like him.
He’s… staying with us. I allowed Trucy to keep him as a cat, because, well… Sissel can’t die.
Miles put up a sympathetic smile. His face features speaking “Do I have a choice?”

thedemonattorney started following you
[Kay nods slightly, looking off to the side.]
Kinda… S-Sorry if I sounded kinda mad right now, it’s just…
[She hugged herself and shrugged.]
Meh.
He lowers his head just an inch when it becomes blatantly evident that there is something bothering the lass.
-You don’t have to apologize.- He figures she was just having mixed feelings about something else and that she was having a hard time getting rid of them.
-Can I help you?-
thedemonattorney started following you
Why, don’t tell me you forgot about your old friend Jacques Portsman!
After all we’ve been through, Mr. Edgeworth? How rude.

Allow me to apologize; I’m sure you must have performed some amazing feats for me to treasure dear at the back of my head.
